Phoenix, part 2 update

I just talked to the BLM, and they have examined and started to treat Phoenix. The wound appears to be superficial, and they are going to continue treatment and monitoring to make sure they haven’t missed anything.

Phoenix and the foal are fine now, and they will likely be returning to the range sometime around this weekend. I didn’t discuss how the two will be returned to the range in my main article, and so I will discuss it here. They will be driven back up to the range and taken to the place they were captured. When Teton is close, and there isn’t much other activity going on, the two will be released.

I will try to head to see the two one of these afternoons and will continue to post any news.
