Lost Creek Fire

There are a lot of wildfires in the area right now. As you can see in many of the recent pictures, it is pretty smoky here. There is a fire near the wild horse range, but it is still quite a distance away. The fire is called the Lost Creek Fire. It is in the parts of the Pryors that are in the Crow Reservation, north of the wild horse range.

For those who have been on the range, this photograph should help you see where the fire is. I took it from near Dry Head Vista looking north. The best land marks, which are visible towards the left side of the picture, are those big pinnacles. (I think they are called Castle Rocks.) In any event, this will give an idea of the distance the fire is from the range.
